Just a real quickie today, but I thought you might be interested in passing this one on.
Puppies bred in puppy farms suffer a cruel fate. Bred from parents who are often ill kept and over-bred into a situation where they have little care or socialisation in the formative first few months of their lives, it is little surprise that puppy farm puppies often carry health problems as well as temperament issues. Many of them are consequently rehomed throughout their lives.
We, the undersigned, call on the Government to introduce minimum standards such as those adopted as part of the Kennel Club’s Assured Breeder Scheme for the breeding of all dogs in the UK, in order to help bring an end to puppy farming.
